SHES Named A National Blue Ribbon School
We are proud to announce that Sand Hill Elementary School has been named a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School! As one of only four schools in South Carolina to receive this prestigious recognition this year, we are honored to represent our community and state at the national level.
Since opening in 2016, Sand Hill Elementary has been committed to excellence, offering state-of-the-art facilities and a supportive learning environment. Our school is one of the top-performing elementary schools in Dorchester School District Two, achieving an “Excellent” rating on the 2022-2023 South Carolina state report card under the leadership of Principal Francina Gerald. Currently, with 1,167 students and 156 dedicated staff members, we continue to thrive under the leadership of Principal Vincent Joy.
Sand Hill Elementary is also proud to be the seventh school in Dorchester District Two to receive the National Blue Ribbon School honor.
